Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This policy explains what information BrandSpot ([LEGAL ENTITY NAME], "we", "us") collects on gobrandspot.com and through our alerts, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Alert sign-ups: your email address or mobile number, your ZIP code and preferred distance, and a record of your text-message consent (the wording you agreed to and when).
  • Brand listings: brand name, website, product, warehouse and dates, and the contact person's name, work email and phone.
  • Messages you send us: your name, email and message.
  • How the site is used: pages viewed, searches (including the ZIP codes you search), filters, saved and shared listings, clicks to brand websites, the ad or link that brought you here, and basic device and browser information. This is collected with cookies and similar tools from Google (Tag Manager and Analytics) and Meta (Meta Pixel).

Stays on your device: the roadshows you save and your light or dark mode choice are stored in your browser only. We don't receive them.

How we use it

  • To send the alerts you asked for, and to list and verify roadshows.
  • To reply to you and to provide services brands have ordered.
  • To understand which features and listings people use, and to improve the site.
  • To measure and run our own advertising, including showing BrandSpot ads to people who have visited the site.
  • To give brands aggregated numbers about their listings, such as views, saves and website clicks. These reports don't include your name, email or phone number.

Text messages

We use your mobile number only to send the BrandSpot alerts you signed up for and related service messages. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run BrandSpot, under agreements that limit their use of it:

  • Netlify (website hosting and form handling)
  • HighLevel (customer records, email and text delivery)
  • Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Search Console)
  • Meta (Meta Pixel, for ad measurement and audiences)

We don't give shoppers' contact details to brands. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

Your choices

  • Alerts: reply STOP to texts; use the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Ad tracking: we honor the Global Privacy Control signal. You can also turn off ad tracking (the Meta Pixel) on this device with the button below. Analytics that helps us count visits stays on.
  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers an Analytics opt-out add-on.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email hello@gobrandspot.com. We'll verify the request and respond within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

How long we keep it

We keep alert sign-ups until you unsubscribe, plus a record of consent and opt-out as long as needed to prove compliance. We keep brand and contact records as long as needed to provide services and meet legal and accounting obligations.

Children

BrandSpot is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or service is completely secure.

Changes

We'll update the date at the top when this policy changes, and we'll tell alert subscribers about material changes.
